Rapid deployment of rehydration points and hygiene kits during the recent outbreak, treating over 2,000 patients and containing the spread.

Impact Summary

Following the heavy rains, a cholera outbreak threatened Kousseri. Our rapid response teams established 4 Oral
Rehydration Points (ORPs) within 48 hours.

Outcomes

  • 2,150 patients treated.
  • 5,000 hygiene kits distributed to vulnerable households.
  • Zero deaths recorded in our intervention zones.
